Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival Ambassador, Wynne Briscoe
Meet Wynne, the official Jazz Ambassador for the Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival! Wynne, a native of St. Mary’s County, has been attending the Festival for many years and is a TRUE jazz fan. She, like the beloved Kim Cullins (the Festival’s late creator), also loves people and wants everyone she meets to experience this truly wonderful event along the shores of the Potomac River and in the charming Town of Leonardtown.
As a working professional and frequent volunteer around Southern Maryland, she knows many folks in the region and is happy to get to know anyone she has not yet had the pleasure to meet. Wynne’s winning smile and amazing spirit brings a wonderfully fresh and new face to the Festival as it enters its third decade of jazzin’ fun!
The Jazz Ambassador made her official debut at the 20th Anniversary Festival in 2019 and she was an instant hit with attendees. Due to her tireless efforts in drumming up exposure and excitement, the Festival saw a noticeable uptick in local attendees.
Her appearance at all the activities and locations throughout the three-day event was documented across Festival social media platforms, where she soon developed a devoted following. Her followers loved finding out “Where’s Wynne” and what her wardrobe choice would be that day!
